POKER TERMS beginning with "U"

Uncalled Bet: A bet made by a player that is not matched by any other player; the pot therefore goes to the player who made the bet.

Underdog: (AKA Dog). The hand that is less likely to win.

Under the Gun: Term referring to the first player to act after the Blind bets.

Unlimited Poker: No-Limit poker.

Up: Term referring to the higher Pair of Two Pair (Ace-Ace-8-8-3 is Aces Up).

Upcard: A card that is dealt face up.
