POKER TERMS beginning with "Q"

Quads: Four of a Kind. See Rankings of Poker Hands.

Qualifier: A minimum standard that a hand must meet in order to be eligible to win part of the pot. In Hi-Lo poker games, it is a requirement that the Low hand must meet in order to be eligible to win the Low half of the pot.

Quarter: To win one fourth of the pot (usually by splitting half of the pot in Hi-Lo games).

Queen: The face card that ranks between the Jack and the King.
