Royal Vegas Poker ReviewThis review is an mixture of a Prima Poker and Royal Vegas Poker review because RoyalVegas Poker is part of the Prima Poker network (by Microgaming) which includes many poker rooms with a shared player base (and nearly identical software except for the colors). Additionally, Royal Vegas Poker is owned by the same group as the Royal Vegas Casino, which has been online for many years. Because the poker room is part of a large network, you will find many new players at RoyalVegas Poker as well as many freeroll tournaments. ♣ ♣ For more opinions and tips for RoyalVegasPoker.com, be sure to read our other Royal Vegas Poker reviews. Royal Vegas Poker Ratings
Overall Royal Vegas Poker ratings based on our poker review are (out of 10):
Royal Vegas Poker Games and Table StakesRoyal Vegas shares its games and players with the rest of the Prima Poker petwork. Games currently include Texas Hold Em, Omaha, Seven Card Stud, and Five Card Stud. They have games with table stakes ranging from low limits of $0.05/$0.10 to a high stakes table of $200/$400 (however, I didn't see any players at the high stakes tables). You can play several tables simultaneously. Royal Vegas Poker TournamentsPrima Poker's tournament traffic is largely driven by its freerolls, but they also have Sit & Go, Multi, and Private tournaments. The Prima Poker network has $4 million in guaranteed tournaments each month, a weekly $100,000 tournament, free satellites, plus $200,000 in monthly free rolls (five daily freerolls of $1000+ in prizes) and a $5,000 freeroll tournament reserved for new players. Review of Prima Poker SoftwareI did not have a very good experience downloading and installing the Royal Vegas Poker software. I had to wade through screen after screen of registration even before I could see what their games looked like. It took me around 30-40 minutes (vs. 10 minutes on average for other poker rooms). The card room graphics are very basic. You can see your hand history, but it is only available outside of the software. Royal Vegas Poker Bonuses and JackpotsThe Royal Vegas Online Poker Room gives you $10 for free (no deposit required) just for registering. Additionally, they offer a 40% bonus on your first deposit up to $100 (so, a $50 total bonus including the free bonus). They also have jackpots for the highest Hold'em hand of the day ($250) and a Hold'em Bad Beat Jackpot (progressive, $ varies). See the Royal Vegas Poker site for full details.
