Holdem Poker Review

Our Holdem Poker review is very similar to our Poker Room review because they both use Ongame software and share players, ring games and (most) tournaments. The software is available as a download or as a no-download version that is compatible with your Mac and/or which you can play while logged in one someone else's computer or while traveling. Holdem Poker gets high ratings in almost every category, however, their promotions are slightly weaker than other sites in the network.

Holdem Poker Games and Table Stakes

HoldemPoker.com has the following poker games: Texas Holdem, Omaha (High and 8 or Better), 7 Card Stud (High and 8 or Better), 5 Card Stud, and Chinese Poker. Their table stakes range from $0.15/$0.30 ($0.10/$0.10 for pot and no limit tables) up to $500/$1000 (though not too many players are the high stakes tables). They poker room also incorporates an online casino with blackjack, baccarat, craps, let it ride & pai gow & caribbean poker, slots & video poker.

Holdem Poker Tournaments

As part of the Ongame network, Holdem Poker gets high ratings for its tournaments. It has non-stop tournament action on the hour 365 days a year. At certain times you can find over 10,000 simultaneous players on their tournament tables. They host a $500 freeroll tournament every day at 6PM ET and share many of the same tournaments with PokerRoom.com. Be sure to sign up for their WSOP freeroll (with LOTS of entrants).

Review of Holdem Poker Software

As mentioned in the overview above, Holdem Poker has versatile software which is a skin of PokerRoom.com. However, sometimes you are unable to login because the server is full. The lobby is also different and not quite as visually appealing.
