Gaming Club Poker Review

Although there is a separate Gaming Club Poker review, you should be aware that GamingClub Poker is part of the Prima Poker Network which includes many online poker rooms with a shared player base (and essentially identical software except for the colors). The poker room is affiliated with the Gaming Club Casino, which has been a big name in online gambling for years. As a result, you will find many new players at GamingClub Poker. You will also find large tournaments, due to its membership in Prima Poker's extensive and growing network of sites.

Gaming Club Poker Games and Table Stakes

Gaming Club Poker's game selection is limited to the most popular games, which are Texas Hold Em, Omaha, Seven Card Stud, and Five Card Stud. You can play several tables at the same time. They have games with table stakes ranging from $0.05/$0.10 to a high stakes table of $200/$400 (but I didn't see any players at the tables above $100).

Review of Gaming Club Poker Tournaments

Gaming Club's tournament traffic is concentrated around its freerolls, but they also have Sit & Go, Multi, and Private tournaments. The Prima Poker network has $4 million in guaranteed tournaments each month, a weekly $100,000 tournament, free satellites, Rounders tournaments, plus $200,000 in monthly freerolls (5 daily free rolls of $1000+ in prizes) and a $5,000 Rookie Freeroll Tournament for new players.

Gaming Club Poker Software

As mentioned in the review of Royal Vegas Poker, the install / registration process was so lengthy that numerous times I just wanted to give up. The cardroom graphics are very basic. They have a hand history, but it is only available outside via HTML and email.

Member of the Prima Poker Network

I'm not crazy about the shared network / separate branding system. Basically, it allows big names to set up their own front end and pool their resources to quickly achieve critical mass in the number of players. But the Prima Poker network system has some advantages too (e.g., the huge number of freerolls!). You are only allowed to have a single alias for all of your Prima Poker accounts.

Gaming Club Poker Bonuses

The Gaming Club Online Poker Room offers an interesting and attractive initial bonus program. If your first deposit is $50 or more, you are eligible to receive a $50 bonus which you earn by aquiring Bonus Redemption Points (by playing in real money games with rakes of $0.25+ per hand). Note that this could take a long time. See the Gaming Club Poker site for full details.
