Fair Poker Games and Table StakesAt present, Fair Poker offers the following games: Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, and 7 Card Stud; with turbo speed, micro-limit, heads-up, and play for fun tables. They have games with table stakes ranging from $0.02/$0.04 to $30/$60 (the stakes are steadily increasing). You also have the ability to set up your own private ring games and tournaments! Review of Fair Poker TournamentsFair Poker is a great place to play Sit-n-Go tournaments. They will pay a $15,000 prize to the winner of 5 consecutive $5 Sit-n-Go tourney's and $25,000 for the winner of 6 in a row ! Also, if you finish in first or second place in 5 consecutive Sit-n-Go's, you will earn a $200 bonus. Every month they also hold a $25,000 guaranteed tournament, and on Sundays they hold one for $10,000 guaranteed and for $7,500 on Saturdays. They have daily free-rolls with NO raked hand requirement, and a special tournament winners' $1,000 NL Holdem Freeroll for players qualifying in the top 3 of any of the scheduled weekly tournaments. Plus, they just started holding WPT Satellites. Software (Playtech)Their poker room uses Playtech software with great graphics and a full screen capability. You can also choose to have talking avatars, which add to the atmosphere. The lobby has the usual information and has useful tabs for quickly finding the ring game or tournament that you are looking for. Fair Poker Rake PolicyFair Poker has one of the fairest rake policies which includes "no flop no drop". When playing at the limit tables, the pot must reach $5 before it is raked ($0.25 for every $5 in the pot). When playing at their pot limit and no limit tables, a rake is taken when the pot reaches $1 ($0.05 for every $1 in the pot) FairPoker.com Promotions & BonusesFairPoker.com offers a sign-up bonus of 50% up to $200. The bonus is also fairly easy to clear compared to other sites. Their system uses Fair Poker Coins which operates as follows: With a 100% match bonus, 500 coins = $10, so a player will need 10,000 coins to get $200. At first glance it sounds a lot, however, the coins are awarded to players for each hand in which they sit in as long as the hand is raked. So it does not matter what you contributed to the pot or even if you folded -- you will get the coins if the hand is raked. Coins will also be awarded to tournament players based on the tournament fee at 20 coins for every $1 in fees paid. In addition, Fair Poker occasionally runs a unique and very cool promotion called their Win/Win promotion -- if you lose your deposit money they will give you back half of it, and if you double the amount of your deposit, they give you 25% as a bonus for your good play!
