Empire Poker Review

Our Empire Poker review has been in a state of everflux since the separation from Party Poker. But now that Empire has been bought out by Party, there will be a lot of similarities between our reviews of these sites since Empire is again a poker room "skin" of Party.. Empire Poker still has a couple of unique features such as Brad Daugherty’s $5,000 Welcome Freeroll Tournament for new players and other special promotions such as the chance to win one of 50 free seats to the WSOP.

Empire Poker Games and Table Stakes

You can play the following games at Empire Poker: Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha 8 or Better, Seven Card Stud, and Stud 8 or Better. They have games with table stakes ranging from $0.50/$1.00 to $30/$60 with fixed limit, pot limit and no limit tables.

Review of Empire Poker Tournaments

Empire Poker has a lot of multi-player poker tournaments (which have always been separate from Party Poker). They also have a daily $500 Freeroll Tournament, a $5,000 Welcome Freeroll just for new players, a daily European Tournament ($5,000 guaranteed), and a TV Star Tournament to be broadcast on television.

Empire Poker Software

The poker room software (by iGlobalMedia) and graphics are pretty good, and you can play at up to three tables at the same time. But player and table statistics are not as good as can be found on other sites.
